| "Listen, there are people that are coming down the pilot ladder of the prow. You go up that pilot ladder, get on that ship and tell me how many people are still on board. And what they need. Is that clear? You need to tell me if there are children, women or people in need of assistance. And tell me the exact number of each of these categories. Is that clear? Listen Schettino, that you saved yourself from the sea, but I am going to... I'm going to make sure you get in trouble. ...I am going to make you pay for this. Go on board." |

Zuckerberg says Facebook not 'at war' with Amazon, Google, Apple
|
|
Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg has discussed his company's relationship with other Silicon Valley giants-Amazon, Google and Apple, and played down speculation that a war between the four technological firms is inevitable.
Zuckerberg and his fellow Facebook executive Sheryl Sandberg appeared in an hour-long interview with PBS, and discussed the social network's supposed "war" with Google and Facebook's IPO plans.
"There are four platforms out here in Silicon Valley It's Amazon, it's Apple, it's Google, it's Facebook," Fox News quoted Zuckerberg, as saying.
"People like to talk about war," Zuckerberg joked in response when asked if the four big firms would do battle in the future.
"Google I think in some ways is more competitive and certainly is trying to build their own little version of Facebook," he added.
Despite that, Zuckerberg said, "there are a lot of ways in which the companies actually work together."
Amazon and Apple are more complimentary companies that Facebook can work with, Zuckerberg said.
He noted that his company had evolved and gown in part due to partnerships with these and other companies, meaning the "war" may be more of an illusion than a knock-down, drag-out brawl. ANI
