Robert Pattinson found sex scenes with Uma Thurman 'disturbing'

    (ANI)

Sydney, Feb 9 : Hollywood heartthrob Robert Pattinson has said that sex scenes with Uma Thurman in new movie Bel Ami made him very nervous.

The 'Twilight' star gets hot and steamy with Thurman in the film, in which he plays Parisian journalist Georges Duroy.

However, he assured that it was far from being erotic because of the movie's plot.

"The sex scenes with Uma are kind of disturbing," the Sydney Morning Herald quoted him as saying.

"Her character Madeleine kind of uses sex as a sort of weapon and my character thinks like an animal.

"There are a lot of sex scenes in this film, so I'm asking quite a lot of myself, and with lots of different people as well," he added.

The movie is a big screen adaptation of French author Guy de Maupassant's 19th Century novel Bel Ami in which ambitious young Georges sleeps his way to the top.
