    Wahlberg stopped by cops for driving violation

    Hollywood actor Mark Wahlberg was stopped by police for allegedly running a stop sign as he was driving through Los Angeles.

    The 'Planet of the Apes' star's luxury Bentley car was pulled over by a Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) officer on suspicion of the motoring offence, reports imdb.com.

    Wahlberg was reportedly on his way to church when he was stopped.

    It is not known whether the actor was handed a traffic ticket for the alleged violation.
